There are many buyers that have plans to customize wpoupon once it has been set up. We think this is wonderful. Unfortunately not everyone has the skills or the “know how” to do so. Modification and customization consulting is a service and can be quite daunting because we are essentially providing instructions through a lot of the modification process. Unfortunately we cannot provide that type of extensive service without a charge. If you need assistance outside of the basic support provided you can visit our member forum and look for a thread related to your question or start a new one. It is the most appropriate way to go if you need to know “how” to make specific changes to your theme. Another option is to actually place a customization order. In that case we do all the work.
3. Can the theme color be changed, if so how? Do you have any example sites from customers?
Yes, by modifying the css you can change the color. You will also need to change the color of images as well with Photoshop or a similar program. A psd file is provided in the download zip. If you would like us to provide cosmetic customizations please contact us for an estimate.
4. Can I have wpoupon in my language?
Currently we have the theme in English, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Turkish. If you are able to translate the theme in your language, please contact us to discuss a possible arraingement.
5. Can wpoupon list multiple cities? (like groupon and living social)
Yes, you can add location-based deals for any region to Wpoupon. Simply, add your desired locations into the theme and set your deals to show up where you want them to.
6. Can users keep track of all their purchases?
Yes, users can login in to their account and see all purchases they have made, including deal information, purchase date, voucher number and expiration date.
7. Does the wpoupon allow you to export your email addresses?
There are a number of WordPress plugins that can export you user contacts. Wpoupon does integrate with Mailchimp and AWeber services in which case once configured user are automically added to your mailing list.
8. How are vendors paid?
All revenue generated through wpoupon deals goes to the site owner. The site owner then will provide payment to vendors based on whatever kind of agreement has been made.
9. Is it difficult to custom the theme design?
We provide customization on a regular basis and can do this for you. If you would like us to provide this service please contact us for an estimate.
10. Can we set up a client for free and not charge for the coupon?
Yes, by setting the price of the deal to zero.
11. Can the currency be customized? i.e. to Euro?
Yes, this can be done through wpoupon options panel. Currently there are many currency options provided. To check and see if your currency code is provided you can visit the demo, log in and check in the wpoupon option panel. If you don’t see your currency code listed and are interested in the theme contact us.
12. Are there reporting tools built into it for monthly sales etc?
Yes, the site admin can run reports by date and filter reports specific to a seller or for all seller. Sellers can run reports for only their sales.
13. We are looking to have multiple deals running each day and not just a daily deal like Groupon does. Can this be done?
Yes, you have the option of what deals you want to show on the homepage (in addition to the featured deal) from within the wpoupon options panel.
14. Do you have the option to use categories on the website?
Yes, visitors can filter their search by category on the deals page. http://www.wpoupon.com/upcoming-deals/ They can also filter their search by region using the location tab in the upper right hand corner of the site
15. What payment gateways does wpoupon support?
Currently, Paypal, Authorize.net, and DineroMail are supported. Google Checkout and Moneybookers are in progress. If you would like us to provide an additional payment gateway customization please contact us for an estimate.
16. Can I create multiple administrator accounts with different privileges?
Yes, this is actually a standard feature with WordPress and can be enhanced further by the use of plugins.
17. Can I set a minimum or maximum number of coupons to be sold?
The site owner or vendor have the option to set a quantity within the deal interface and once the maximum is reached the deal closes and no more can be purchased. There also is an option for setting minimum purchases. From with the deal interface simply set the minimum number of purchases required to tip the deal. Once enough visitors have tipped, the deal they will be activated and they will be emailed.
18. Does the wpoupon theme have Twitter, Facebook or Friend Feed integration?
Wpoupon has functionality to allow users to log in with their Facebook and Twitter account. In addition, we use a third party plugin called leenk.me to integrate and automatically published deals, posts and pages to Twitter, Facebook, and/or Friend Feed. It works VERY well and only cost $3.50 cents a year.
19. Can a customer tweet or share the deal with someone else?
Yes, there are a number of social plugins available to accomplish this.
20. Can wpoupon aggregate deals from other deal sites (groupon, livingsocial, etc.) or does it just clone groupon and one has to enter his/her own deals, find clients, etc.?
No, wpoupon is a clone. The site owner and/or seller will need to add the deals.
21. How long will I get upgrades after I purchase?
The single domain license comes with upgrades for a year. The unlimited domain license comes with permanent upgrades.
22. If I purchase the single domain license can I upgrade to the unlimited domain license at a later date?
Yes, you can upgrade at a later date. The cost for upgrading from a single domain license to an unlimited domain license is $350.00, so it will actually be cheaper for you to do it at the start. Please contact us if you would like to upgrade.
