May 3rd 2012 Wpoupon Version 1.3.5

* New option for Login/Register Pop-up Box: You can now define it to appear always instead just once per visit.
* You can now allow your users to register/login using their Facebook and Twitter accounts.
* WPoupon now displays countdown timer on the home page for deals.
* WPoupon now has a sales report system for deals sold.
* WPoupon now uses a new way to link for default pages (like Register and Login’s page). Now user may use any permalink structure.
* WPoupon options page is now limited by using User Level instead of User Capability, so you may now use custom capabilities to your users without break the theme or give access to them to options page. Keep in mind that global options page (Coupon Template, General Options and Add a Coupon) can only be viewed by users with User Level 10 (Administrator), seller options page (View Buyers, Seller Logo and Reports) can only be viewed by users with User Level 2 (Author) or higher.
* Improved redirect to login page if user is trying to see the accounts page without being logged.
* Improved redirect to home page if user is trying to see the login page being already logged in.
* Added the currencies: Trinidad and Tobago Dollar (TTD), Jordanian Dinar (JOD), Saudi Riyal (SAR) and United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED).

April 15th 2012 Wpoupon Version 1.3.4

* Added an automatic upgrade function. After this version, you will be able to update WPoupon through the Upgrade menu of WordPress Admin Panel.
* Added an Send as Gift option. User will be able to send their coupon codes as a gift to someone using just an email. If the e-mail informed isn’t registered, a new account with that email will be generated. This option must be enabled in the General Options.
* Changed the style of User Account History
* Users can now recover their username through their e-mail.
* Improved the validation of the number fields of a deal.

March 31th 2012 Wpoupon Version 1.3.3

* New option: Footer Text. You can now easily change the copyright text on footer in the General Options of WPoupon.
* Improved the View Buyers page. You can now click on deal’s name to see only buyers from that deal. You can now click on buyer’s name to only see the purchases made by that user.
* Improved old files to be compatible with child themes.
* Fixed some strings so now they can be translated.

March 6th 2012 Wpoupon Version 1.3.0

* WPOUPON NOW HAS TIP FUNCTIONALITY!!!
* Started the process to remove all inline and direct insert of CSS and JS files, in favor of using the enqueue system of WordPress.
* You can now use videos as Featured Image in your deals.
* Removed most of images with text to be text-only with CSS style.

February 11th 2012 Wpoupon Version 1.2.9

* Organized a new structure to payment files. Now each gateway have it’s own file. It will keep payment system organized and easier the creation of new ones.
* After complete successfully a purchase, when user come backs to site, a shadowbox will appear with his new coupon code. Note that this functionality doesn’t work with Manual Payment and Authorize.net.
* Deals Meta Box for add/edit deals is now much more clear and easily to navigate. Also, it now fits better in any screen resolution.
* All links to Login and Register will now call the Popup Box, instead of redirect user to a login page.
* Deals with Custom URL defined will properly count clicks as bought to that deal.
* You can now manually create a coupon code to use in manual payment systems.

February 1st 2012 - Wpoupon version 1.2.8

* Wpoupon now have Location functionality. You may now easily create deals by location. Check guide for more information.
* Optimized the code of quantity selector, so it will not show more quantity than avaible.
* Removed the category selector from Deal meta box.

December 05-2011 - Wpoupon version 1.2.1

  • Authorize.net Payment Gateway added: You can now use Authorize.net method of payment. You can configure it in menu WPoupon Options, under Appearance.
  • Added upcoming deal page. When you are on the deal page you now have another tab named “Coming Up”. Before the theme did not allow visitors to view the future deals. Now they can view the future deals instead of a notice that they will be active soon.

December 01-2011 – Wpoupon version 1.2.0

  • Define usage of pop-up register box - You can now disable or enable the pop-up register box from within the wpoupon options menu.
  • Additional Payment Option - You now have the option of manually processing orders. When you select manual payments as a payment option customers will click the buy now button and an emal will be send to you to process.
  • Simplified Paypal integration - The former Paypal integration was problematic for those using shared hosting. Now integrating Paypal is simply a matter of entering your Paypal email address and clicking save.

August 30-2011

  • Added a featured deal area on the homepage – We felt that this was the one glaring omission in the previous version so we decided to completely redesign the homepage. You can now set any deal (or deals) to be featured on the homepage and it will display along with the timer counter. You can also specify text specific to the featured deal container, as well as a specific image.
  • Added Cufon font replacement to the homepage – Using Cufon font replacement, the text on the homepage looks smooth and appealing.
  • Today’s new deals – We added a table that displays all deals that were started in the current day.
  • Deals ending soon – We added a table that displays all deals are about to end.
  • Deals coming up – We added a table that displays all deals that are future dated. This serves as an e-mail capture lead.
  • Redesigned the deal detail page – We expanded the layout to allow the deal to use the entire width of the page. We also enabled up to 5 images to be displayed in a slider, added big icons to display the key information for each deal, integrated social media sharing links and even set aside a special area for Terms & Conditions!
  • Redesigned the deal creation page – Adding deals is about the only thing that takes a bit of time, but we have redesigned the process to make it as structured as possible. Follow our user guide and you will be able to get deals up easily and efficiently.
  • Added custom URL options for deals – This option we feel adds a whole new dimension to the theme. Instead of sending buyers straight to PayPal, you can set a custom URL to redirect to if you wish. Some possibilities for this option include sending buyers to the seller’s own landing page or shopping cart, and the one we like – setting up affiliate promotions as deals and sending the clicks straight to the tracking URL!
  • Added customisation options for coupons – Now the site owner can customise the way that the coupon looks, including adding the site logo, a background image (useful for say watermarks), font size and font colour. Further, each seller can add their own logo that will appear beside the site logo so that the seller can also have a bit of branding on the coupon as well.
  • Added coupon verification system – Seller’s can now login to WordPress and see exactly who has bought what deal, what the coupon code is and they can even set the status between “Unused” and “Used” so they can keep track of coupon usage.
